Open Gym

Free play utilising all equipment for birth – 5 years of age. Parent/Caregiver supervision is required at ALL times.

A tailored class for ages 3-5 learning the fundamental movements of gymnastics, while building social, emotional, cognitive and physical skills through play.

Parent/Caregiver assistance required.

Watch your child grow in confidence and skill as they explore an environment that is safe, stimulating and fun. This is a structured class delivered by accredited coaches exploring basic gymnastics shaping and skill circuits using our 4 main apparatus. The diversity of this program provides each child with the opportunity to develop their gymnastics ability.

CLP is our recreational levels program aimed to teach and improve skill development whilst progressing through levels. Level progression is at the Head Coaches discretion.

Gymnasts are required to train in active wear and have hair tied back.Please contact Wynyard Gymnastics Club to determine which CLP is appropriate for your child.

If you would like your child assessed for our Development or ALP classes, please contact us for referral to the Head Coach.

The development squad is a selected group of committed gymnasts who will train to be our upcoming ALP competitive gymnasts. Option to train 1-2 days per week, term fees will be adjusted to reflect training option.

Gymnasts are required to wear a leotard with hair tied back.

Selected gymnasts will learn skills and routines from the WAG ALP which they will compete at compulsory state-wide competitions.

Social connections and fitness are so important to our everyday lives and mental health. “Teenagers” is a class designed to be full of fun, fitness and acrobatic skills that provides an opportunity for strong social connections giving a sense of belonging and community in a supportive non-judgement zone with room for individual growth.

NO GYMNASTICS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Children will learn basic acrobatic skills such as walkovers, aerials and handsprings utilising our full- size trampoline, double mini tramp and air track. Gymnasts will learn Australian Level Trampolining skills.

A program for boys and girls living with a disability who would like to learn the basics of gymnastics in a safe environment. Learning skills such as balance, coordination, fine and gross motor skills as well as their fundamental movement patterns of running, jumping, swinging and climbing. This program can be altered to suit each individual child’s needs in an effective manner.

This is a recreational class involving Free G, trampoline and tumbling, focusing on muscle strength and body shaping.

Our cheerleading program is fast, fun, energetic and caters for children of all abilities. Learn a choreographed routine including stunts, jumps, tumbling and dance to perform at compulsory state- wide competitions.

Club Cheer uniform is required when participating in competitions. Additional costs involved for competitions.

Cheer Dance is an added opportunity to perform extra routines at competitions. Specialising in jazz, lyrical/ contemporary, pom and more! Children will have the chance to perform as part of a team, duo or solo. Extra costumes might be required at athlete’s expense.
