Wynyard Gymnastics Club is a not-for-profit organisation offering fun and fitness through a progressive program affiliated with Gymnastics Australia.

At Wynyard Gymnastics, we believe that Gymnastics is important for children as it helps in youth development by promoting physical fitness, coordination, and discipline. Being affiliated with Gymnastics Australia, Wynyard Gymnastics Club ensures that children in the community have the opportunity to engage in this beneficial sport, contributing to their overall growth and development.

We offer a Club level program (CLP) for children who just want to come and have fun. For children that want to compete we offer the Australian Levels program (ALP).

Terms and Conditions

1. Privacy Policy

Wynyard Gymnastics Club is committed to the protection of member’s privacy and personal information. Your privacy is protected under the Personal Information Protection Act 2004. Personal information may only be disclosed in accordance with the exemptions provided under the Act.

We collect the personal details you voluntarily provide us with upon registration and will only use this information for administration purposes related to the class you are enrolling a child in. We will also use these details for communicating information to you, relating to but not limited to; any of the club’s facilities, class information, fundraising events, in house competitions, end of year displays and term newsletters. You can opt out of these communications by unchecking the tick box upon enrolment or contacting the club.

Any personal information that you voluntarily provide to Wynyard Gymnastics Club will be held in a database. This information is shared with Gymnastics Australia and Gymnastics Tasmania who may also share this information with any relevant insurance providers and event providers. You have the right to access and correct your information by logging into your customer portal or contacting the club.

2. Payment of Fees

A Gymnastics Australia Registration fee is payable online at the time of enrolment and is charged per term. The registration fee is charged per term per student and not per class.

Term fees can be paid via the customer portal, and invoices will be emailed by week 2 of each term. Invoices are payable within 21 days upon receipt of invoice.

Participation in the following term will not be permitted unless all outstanding fees have been paid.

All enrolments are payable by bank transfer, credit/debit card or payment plan. Additional fees may apply when paying by credit/debit card or payment plan.

Payment plans are available through Pinch Payments. We have several payment plans available, if you do not see an option that is suitable, please email finance@wynyardgymnastics.onmicrosoft.com.

Please email our Treasurer (as above) to use a ticket to play voucher or to set up a payment plan.

Wynyard Gymnastics Club may increase the fees associated with the activities offered at any time. Wynyard Gymnastics will make every reasonable effort to keep fees low and to notify members about fee increases.

Wynyard Gymnastics Club store the following financial information relating to members financial institutions:

name of the financial institution
payment type
name of the cardholder
expiry date
the last 4 digits of the card number.
The member is responsible for:

Ensuring all bank details are correct.
Ensuring there is enough money in the nominated account when payment is made or if a payment plan payment is due.
If the nominal account does not allow a payment due to insufficient funds, Wynyard Gymnastics Club has the right to suspend classes until payment has been received.

Members are liable for all fees relating to failed payments.

In the unlikely event that an invoice has not been paid by the invoice due date, Wynyard Gymnastics club will make every effort to contact the member for payment. If contact cannot be made within 14 days of the invoice due date, the members details will be passed to a collection service for recovery. Any fees, costs and expenses incurred that relate to recovery of the debt is the responsibility of the member and will be added to the total amount of money owed by the member to Wynyard Gymnastics Club.

3. Missed Classes & Cancellations

Make up sessions for missed classes can only be arranged in the same term the lesson was missed and is subject to availability. Wynyard Gymnastics Club cannot guarantee there will be a space available in an alternative class and missed lessons cannot roll over into the next term.

Missed classes are non-refundable except for exceptional circumstances and by approval of the committee. Proof of the exceptional circumstance must be provided e.g. medical certificate.

Fees are non-transferable and cannot be transferred between students.

Credits or Refunds will not be processed until any outstanding amounts owing are paid in full.

Withdrawal from classes for the rest of a term due to medical reasons will be refunded as soon as a copy of a medical certificate has been received.

In the unlikely event that a lesson is cancelled, a credit will be placed onto the member’s account.

Wynyard Gymnastics club must be informed by week 2 if your child will no longer be attending. We offer a “try before you buy” session during week 1. If your child does not attend from week 2 and we have been notified, your invoice will be null and void.

4. Change of Details

Wynyard Gymnastics Club will use email as the primary method of communication. Urgent information will be communicated via text message, email and social media posts. It is the member’s responsibility to keep Wynyard Gymnastics Club informed of any changes of contact or credit card details.

5. Wynyard Gymnastics Club Closures

Every effort will be made to adhere to the timetable; however, Wynyard Gymnastics Club reserves the right to consolidate classes, alter timetables and change Coach to suit seasonal and usage requirements as necessary. We will inform members of any timetable changes as soon as possible.

Wynyard Gymnastics is closed annually for the Wynyard Show which takes place on the 3rd Saturday in March. The club is closed the week before the show and for several days afterwards. The club is also closed for Public Holiday’s and during school holidays unless a holiday program has been advertised. Members are not charged for these dates and invoices have been adjusted accordingly.

6. Code of Conduct

We believe that a positive and supportive environment is essential for the development of our young athletes. By adhering to our code of conduct, you contribute to a safe, enjoyable, and productive experience for all. We appreciate your cooperation and commitment to fostering a positive experience for your child. A copy of our code of conduct can be found here.

7. Injury Liability

There is always a risk of injury when using the equipment and facilities at Wynyard Gymnastics Club and we do not accept any responsibility for any such injury and members must accept that risk. Members must disclose to Wynyard Gymnastics Club any circumstances which may affect the safety or increase the risk of injury.

8. Medical Treatment

All members enrolled in Wynyard Gymnastics Club classes consent to receive any medical treatment that the club staff consider necessary during their participation in classes or events.

9. Insurance

The Gymnastics Australia Registration fee is payable per term per student. The registration fee includes club membership and membership of Gymnastic Tasmania which covers their personal insurance while participating in classes and competitions affiliated with Gymnastics Australia.

 10. Recording Devices

Recording of participants, club employees, spectators and any other child in our gym is not permitted. Club employees may occasionally record classes and routines for promotionally and training purposes. These recordings will only include children whose parents/caregivers have agreed to the In-house and Outside photo/video permissions upon enrolment.
